The son of two educators, I was born and raised in Baltimore City. After retiring from the United States Marine Corps, where I met my wife and fellow Marine, we settled here in Calvert County.

I am a father to four children, three of which are currently enrolled in Calvert County Public Schools. I have gleaned much from the educator, student, and now parent perspective. It is why I have decided to no longer take a passive interest in the education of Calvert County students. As I take pride in having served my country, I look to do the same for my community.
